Rebecca was nominated by local people who wanted to thank her for all of the work she does keeping children safe.
Rebecca said; "I have been Romiley primary schools lollipop lady for three years. It is a fantastic school which three generations of my family have attended. I have great memories of my primary school years there. I decided to become a lollipop lady whilst my son attended Romiley School. I wanted to help keep Romiley children safe. We have a fantastic community which I am proud to be part of. The children are a pleasure to cross, always great to see them. I have promoted vacancies for school patrols via the Internet and the local newspapers, you may even see my poster in some of the Stockport schools!
I am a local resident, living in Romiley with my partner and our son. We enjoy living in Romiley and enjoy meals out at The Italian Romiley, where we have been customers for twenty years!. We also enjoy walks to Chadkirk, which is very near to our home."
