I am extremely proud that you have given me the great honour of serving the Hazel Grove constituency, my home area, in Parliament. It is a duty I take seriously and a challenge I take whole-heartedly. I made commitments over the course of the campaign to deliver a 6-point plan for the area, namely: 1. Creating more jobs 2. Improving local transport links 3. Backing Stepping Hill Hospital 4. Supporting local schools 5. Cutting Crime 6. Improving local parks I will stay true to these commitments and secure the improvements that our area needs. The hard work begins now, and I look forward to the challenge of making this a better place to live and work. I recognise the huge trust that local people have placed in me. I won't forget where I have come from, and will stay true to my promises and principles. Regardless of how you voted, I now commit myself to your service.
