Marple Polymer have recently exported 17 tonnes of rubber compound to New York for the city’s playground surfaces. They have benefitted from the Conservative Government’s £2,000 National Insurance allowance, which has enabled them to invest in new machinery to speed up their production process.
Commenting on the good economic news, William Wragg said, “The growth figures are again pleasing and we’re moving in the right direction. Whilst there is still much work to do, Marple Polymer’s story is one of success and the Conservatives will continue to back manufacturing.”
Andrew Lord from Marple Polymer added, “Over the last 12 months, things have picked up dramatically and we can feel the economy is really turning around. The Government’s backing has really helped, and I hope the Conservatives continue to support local business.”
