Bredbury Parkway plans halted

Bredbury Parkway expansion Halted!

We are delighted that the planning inspectorate has rejected Quorum's appeal to extend Bredbury Parkway estate into the Tame Valley.

Plans to extend the estate would have meant that a huge logistical park would have been developed next to the River Tame. It follows a long campaign by our local MP William Wragg- along with local residents.

William Wragg MP in response to the news stated, 'I’m pleased that the Planning Inspectorate has rejected Quorum's appeal to extend the Bredbury Parkway estate into the Tame Valley. My Thanks to Andrew Gwyne MP and Cllr Brian Bagnall who have worked hard, alongside local campaigners, throughout the appeal.'

This is a fantastic result for our area.
