Unemployment down!

William Wragg MP has welcomed the news that the number of people in work across the UK is at a record level, the rate of women in work is at the highest level since comparable records began, and that according to today’s figures there are 200,966 more people back in work in North West since 2010.


Calling all community groups in the Hazel Grove Constituency!

Aviva have launched a new Community Fund worth up to £25,000.

The funding can be awarded to a range of categories such as supporting the elderly, health & wellbeing as well as community sport.

Charity of the Month - Winner

William Wragg MP presented, Emma Porter who is the organiser of the Woodley, Romiley and Bredbury Defibrillator campaign.

Emma was nominated by the public to be the 'Charity of the Month for August'.

Great to join Bill Mellor of Higher Farm in Woodley over the weekend at the Romiley Young Farmers Show.

Royal Mail Delivery Office

Under plans to reform its operations, Royal Mail is currently conducting a feasibility study which could potentially result in the closure of one, or both, of the Bredbury and Marple Royal Mail Delivery Offices, with services potentially re-located to Stockport.

July - Charity of the Month WINNERS

ARC in Romiley were the first recipients of William Wragg MP’s Charity of the month for July 2016. As the local Member of Parliament, William is keen to promote the work of voluntary organisations and charities who do such outstanding work in our community.

High Lane - U3A Meeting
