William attended services throughout the constituency and where he has unable to attend local Councillors laied the wreath on his behalf.
William said, "Today is Remembrance Sunday (8th November). A day for all of us to remember our brave men and women who have fought for our protection and freedom across the globe.
This is the time for us to educate young people about what soldiers went through in the trenches during the First World War, but also about the fight to defeat Nazi Germany and the war against Japan in the Second World War.
We must not forget to talk about the Korean War, Falklands War, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, The Gulf War, Invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, the contribution of our Armed Forces in Libya and medical teams assisting those suffering with Ebola across Africa. The British contribution in all of these conflicts (to name a few) and incidents must never be forgotten.
Our Armed Forces are on standby 24/7 for military, medical and humanitarian incidents.
Thank you for your work."
